Three Day Week

Combine your government funded Kindergarten with an additional day per week, and you can attend our three day week. You only pay the out of pocket costs on one of the days you attend. Great for families who need the same three days each week for work or other life commitments.

Free Kindy

Emerald Community Kindy is proud to offer Free Kindy for all children, in the year before they start Prep. These programs are funded by the Department of Education's 'Free Kindy' initiative.

Five Day Fortnight

Children have access to three days per week of government funded Kindergarten, enrolling in a five day fortnight means you will attend three days one week, and two days the next. Perfect if you can be flexible with your plans across the fortnight.

QKLG

In Kindy we utilise the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG). This supports our teachers’ and educators’ professional practice in a range of contexts. It also provides advice for planning, documenting and assessing children’s learning and development. The QKLG aligns with the principles and practices details in the Early Years Learning Framework.

EYLF

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is a national curriculum framework which ensures quality and consistency in the delivery of early childhood education programs across all early childhood services. The EYLF is an important tool to help professionals and parents achieve the best learning and developmental outcomes for children

NQF

The National Quality Framework (NQF) is Australia’s system for regulating early childhood education and care. It provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement. Within the NQF are the National Quality Standards (NQS), which are a set of benchmarks for the quality of early childhood education and care services in Australia.
